Repairs Coordinator 
Grade 4, £26,403 up to £29,540 per annum pro rata
37 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 2 year fixed term contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic In-House Repairs Team at Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council. We are looking for a proactive Repairs Coordinator to support both our Repairs Helpdesk and Scheduling Teams. This is a varied role offering the chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.  

As part of a supportive and committed team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our housing repairs service runs smoothly and efficiently. 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing responsive and helpful support to customers and operatives
  • Scheduling appointments for basic and larger repair works
  • Monitoring operative diaries and ensuring urgent and emergency repairs are prioritised
  • Offering reactive cover for our busy Repairs Helpdesk
  • Liaising with suppliers for material orders and updates
  • Supporting colleagues with job queries and coordinating with other departments as needed
  • Maintaining accurate records and support the smooth running of our housing platforms, including Orchard Housing

We’re looking for someone with strong organisational skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering excellent service.

You will have experience in customer service, administration and scheduling, and be confident using digital systems.
